MSBTE K Scheme Civil Engineering Syllabus | Semester 5 Syllabus The MSBTE All Clear website helps students to access all the important topics in MSBTE in an easy and accessible manner. The MSBTE Civil Engineering (CE) Semester 5 Syllabus includes theory exams (70 marks each) known as the final exam. Important topics include Structural Theory, Water Resources Engineering, Latest Trends in Civil Engineering, Energy Conservation and Green Buildings, Precast and Prestressed Concrete Structures and Traffic.
The curriculum includes internal practical exams in Entrepreneurship Development and Business Start-up,Workshops and CoursesProject Start-upWorkshops and Courses, each worth 25 marks. External practical exams for internships (12 weeks) with a maximum score of 100 marks and external practical exams for workplace placements with a maximum score of 100 marks. The program emphasizes practical learning, which gives students hands-on experience and a deep understanding of the subject.
This course is aligned with the MSBTE K curriculum, which provides a clear pass mark of at least 40 out of 100. The assessment is weighted from 30 to 70 points and includes a formative assessment (FA-TH) and a summative assessment (SA-TH). FA-TH is the arithmetic average of two 30-point course tests taken during the semester, while SA-TH is a 70-point theory test taken by MSBTE at the end of the semester.
The Diploma “K” program curriculum has been revised for the academic year 2023-24. The syllabus for Term 5 was officially announced in 2023 and the proposed syllabus for Term 6 has been published. All courses are now available. In their third year, students will take more specialized courses, which will give them a broader learning experience.
